Never, ever, ever put your credit card and private details into a page unless it says at the top of the screen “https://….” The “s” means “secure” and you’ll know that that shopping cart encrypts the information before handling it. Just about all shopping carts have this but if you don’t see it, do not continue. Some online shoppers look for the little closed padlock icon at the bottom of their browser to know that their safe. That is certainly a good idea but you most certainly want to see that “https” up there before going any further.
