Renting Tips

Before you move into the apartment look over it with a critical eye! Because you will be charged for any damage to the unit when you move out, document with both a written list and photographs any pre-existing damage to the unit. If possible have your landlord look over the list and either fix the problems or sign off on the list to acknowledge that they were there before you moved in.
